Injuries, change in offensive philosophy when it comes to his responsibilities, and QB play.  Young seemed more comfortable throwing to his former UT teammate the other TE Bo (can't remember the last name).  Troupe can play in this league and be a solid receiving TE to team with Smith.

Thank you for your information. Good to know.

I like Bob Marley's music too, No Woman No Cry is my favorite.

Anyone who thinks Tim Tebow will be a great NFL QB is an idiot.

Sorry, redtab78. It's been a busy night. I did speak with Joel Segal, Troupe's agent, within the hour and he did confirm a multi-year deal. The deal hasn't been signed yet, but Troupe and the Bucs have agreed to terms.

We were working on the story for the front page of PewterReport.com = http://pewterreport.com/articles/view/3971

We had posted it earlier in the Bucs Free Agency Visit Tracker thread = http://www.pewterreport.com/forum/index.php?topic=20388.0

Why should you be upset. Scott and Jim have stated many times, they do not care about being first. They care more about being accurate and right.

13 receptions for 150 yards in 06 and 5 receptions for 47 yards in 07.  Maybe the Bucs can get some use out of him?  He did have 3 receptions for 44 yards against the Chargers in the playoffs.  Wake me up when we get someone worth getting excited about.

Obviously doesn't hang around with the punter fraternity.

Finally, the move we've all been waiting for

Me too, nice signing.

Actually, I was being facetious. I'd have been content with Stevens.

I would have been too, Hate. I am OK with the signing but have some concerns about him getting beat out of the starting job by Bo Scaife. We'll see, at least it's something in the right direction.

he broke is ankle at the end of the '06 season and Scaife came in and did a good job, not much to be concerned about as long as his ankle is fine now.

Him being here won't matter if he isn't used any differently than Stevens was. I have this sneaky feeling that it won't be any different.
