Well the plan was get your 272lbs TE the ball with a missmatch.  The defender just jumped the play and Becht didn't have a chance to make a play.

I don't mind throwing short of the chains so much, but I do mind when you throw short of the chains and the guy catches the ball with his back to the defense.
