Of that list QB and RB are BPAs.  I am not assuming we'd carry all the backs into the season either...

Mostly I'd have to do more homework...

Mendenhall.

Bennett is only under contract for one more year, same with Graham, Dunn is 33 and Cadillac has a non existant knee.
I hate the RB pick too but I guess it's a possiblity.

I agree.

The draft is deep at RB but Mendenhall may be too good to pass up.

Jackson would be a solid LDE.  I am not sure if he is a reach at #20 as he is a borderline 1st/2nd round talent so it is possible he is selected in the 1st round.  But it will depend on where Merling and Harvey are selected first honestly.

McFadden could drop to us, and I'd doubt we'd take him.  Not saying I agree with it, but guys let's get real.

Err, I thought the question was who would each of us take as the GM not who do we think the bucs would take.

Bennett is signed for three years, but at what he was signed for the team could cut him after this year or he might not even make the roster depending on what direction the team goes with its first round pick

In Football, RESPECT is never given freely by your opponent. It must be TAKEN from them...VIOLENTLY

Great players cost a lot of money but help win games. High-priced players - a byproduct of poorly run front offices with bad scouting departments - only cost a lot of money.

Even if the Bucs scooped up Hackett or Johnson what happens when Galloway goes down or retires in a year? Ike is getting up there in years too.....then we are back to square one. WR will still be a need come draft time

Lots of WR's to pick from in rounds 2-4 in this upcoming draft IMVHO.  If people are really down on DeSean Jackson becuase of his height and drops to the Bucs second rounder than it is a no brainer to select him there.

CB Aquib Talib

He may be a darkhorse for the Bucs 1st round pick.

You can get a quality RB anywhere.

Then why do so many teams lack one?

My mistake.

I thought it was a one year contract but now I see I was wrong

DE Lawrence Jackson

an RB?  So what we're going to have Graham, Bennett, Dunn, a first round back, and the possibility of Cadillac?

You guys are dumb.  McFadden could drop to us, and I'd doubt we'd take him.  Not saying I agree with it, but guys let's get real.  As for WR, if the Bucs add Hackett or Bryant Johnson then you can rule that out as well.

I doubt we add a QB, but with Gruden, its a possibility.  We will go defense and WE NEED to go D.

Dumb? I would love to take DRC (he wasn't listed) but is anyone saying that Jackson is a value pick at #20?? That's a reach IMHO

How 'bout that, he has Henne #2 and while I don't exactly rank the QB like that  (1-x rankings not tiers) Aside from Ryan I have no reason to think Henne isn't as decent a pick as any other QB in the draft.  Now some "expert" agrees. Yeah! I guess.

I can only think of four, maybe five teams in the League that lack a quality RB.
