I'd absolutely love it. But unless the Glazers have had a change of heart, they want someone who will focus on the offensive side of the ball.

So who are the best OC's around the league--who are ready to be HC's?

Glazers...? Anyway Al Saunders anyone?

Here are a few possibilities:

Ken Whisenhunt, Steelers
Cam Cameron, Chargers
Al Saunders, Redskins
Tom Moore, Colts
Ron Turner, Bears

Are any of these guys considered HC material?

Whisenhunt is considered a strong favorite for the Steelers gig if/when Cowher retires.  Turner and Saunders names were kicked around last offseason as rumored candidates.  Don't forget also that there are a few former HCs that are currently OCs or "advisors" to other teams, that might want another HC gig next year.

Why would anyone NOT call for Gruden to be fired? What more do you need to see?

the owners have no intention of letting Gruden go

I happen to know different.

Got some proof buddy?

Well, we'll soon see, won't we? I have nothing to prove, my information is firsthand. Talk to me again when Gruden and Allen are in full offseason mode, signing their free agents and drafting young players for the 2007 campaign.

Charlie Weiss would be great, although highly unlikely.

I think with the amount of talent existant and emerging, good coaching would go a long way. For some reason the team does not focus well under the direction of Gruden. I think that these players need a steady, encouraging coach that has the patience for the baby steps that this team needs to make to find some sort of identity. So far, we cannot accomplish even small consistent strides week after week.

Really, this team looks so un-inspired.  The offense is terrible. I am a Grad Fan, a Bucfan. But damn he holds the ball for a long time! Is there really nobody open?!! ...Ugh.  Our offense is offensive.

It is a new day in TAMPA BAY!    GO BUCS!!
