Chad choked  back tears as he said "I need to do what's best for Chad" - he was asked what would make him happy and he repeatedly answered "Change, I need change. I need a fresh start."

Then Johnson told the hosts, "You guys aren't feelin' me. If I don't get change. I'm through. I'm done. It's over. I'll be working here with you."

Bruce Allen, get back on those phones!

Just posted this in the other thread about him lol... He definitely made it clear he won't be on the field for Bengals ever again.

What's best for Chad is to play for this team.

Doesn't necessarily mean what's best for this team is to have Chad..

"I need to do what's best for Chad" is the type of attitude that resonates thru locker rooms..

There are two teams in the league I don't blame players for trying to get away from. Cincinnati and Arizona. Their owners, Mike Brown and Bill Bidwill are the closest things alive to Hugh Culverhouse. They don't do what's in the team's best interest, but what fills up their bank accounts quickest.

I don't want to slight his talent, because he has skills, but he didn't visit the endzone in 12 of 16 games last season..

edit: or in 2006

This guy isn't a bad team mate for wanting out. He wants out and they won't do it so he is going public in order to make it happen. His time there has been good and he hasn't had any problems so people not wanting him here are stupid

People wondered if the Patriots were crazy for taking on a cancer like Randy Moss....he wasn't a Patriots-type player.

Or when they took another Cincy reject in Corey Dillon.

Those damn Patriots, trading for all these malcontents.

Trade for him now.

What do you think the asking price would be?
