I've said it before and will again, thank you yucc and all the other people who are fighting for what's right in all areas of the world. You all represent the United States with pride and honor and we here at home couldn't sit around and argue about trivial things on a message board without your service. A tough way to get to come home that's for sure.
As for your family, I will add thoughts and prayers as well. Remember positive attitudes work and miracles do happen! God Bless.

As some of the long time posters on the forum may know, I have been in Iraq since 2005 helping support the troops, well the time has come for me to go home an tend to my wife and ten year old son who have been battling cancer for several years. With my wife taking a turn for the worse, I wanted to thank everyone for the escape from reality that I get on a daily basis discussing football with all of you.

While I am not someone who likes my private life out there, I also did not want people asking where I was in my absence from the forum. Just know something bigger is calling and I need time to deal with it, In my own time and way. I see most of you as my extended family and figured I would let everyone know at the same time.

Let me first thank everyone for the well wishes, while it is a tough time for my family, the measure of a man is not how many times he falls down but rather the way he picks himself back up. It has been a long fight for my wife and son.

I am thankful for all the prayers, but sometimes there is a high person calling, My wife has been my rock, while by son has been a hero to me. The daily pain both have gone through while staying strong and upbeat is something I pray no one has to go through.

While as a child growing up I was told men dont cry, I must admit I get choked up inside when having to confront this head on while staying strong for them. If I could trade my life for theres just so they could have a day free from pain, I would do it in a heart beat.

Again I want to thank each one of you for the time and the prayers
