Yep, skipping workouts has always been a way to endear yourself to your coaches and teammates (or future coaches and teammates).  I would think that with his "body" of work over the last two years he should be doing everything humanly possible to prove to the football world that he is "back and better than ever."  If he wants a meaningful football job in 2008, a chance to be active on game days, he has to turn some heads.  Right now he would be lucky if someone offered him minimum pay to be their #3 and inactive on game days.

I'm not a HUGE fan of Flacco coming to this team, but He has a quicker release than Simms, IMO.  Not by much, but he's also alot more mobile, alot tougher and better under pressure.  Other than that, they are identical.
