Anyone know what the cap hit is if the Bucs cut Clayton loose?  Is a trade more likely?

You can guess, based on the fact that he's under his rookie deal and he was a last 1/3 of the first round pick at that that his hit would not be exorbitant if released but the savings wouldn't be either.

Clayton is not going to be traded. Even though he is struggling. Gruden has confidence hin him. He is one of Gruden's draft picks. I see him going nowhere in the off-season

The "drop" coupled with him being put on IR with no more than a sore knee speaks volumes.   My guess is he's being shopped heavily.
