troy smith is projected to go in the mid 2nd to 3rd round. i say lets make him our qb of the future. our rebuilding is not a quick fix. he is a winner (Vince Young, anybody?)

I like troy smith, i think he is everything gruden looks for in a QB hes mobile, has a good arm, and his accuracy will improve with time.  I think he would be a good investment, i just dont see him startin his first year, and if we dont get a vet QB for him to learn behind then its a pointless investment.  I like the kid And if we get him with our second pick in the second round i wouldnt be upset, i just think once he runs the 40 his stock will go sky high.

only and I mean only IF the Bucs can trade down in the first a few spots and pick up a 3rd 2nd round pick.  We need too much help on the defensive side of the ball to even look at any offensive players on the first day.

I wouldn't mind him as the future QB, he's like a Drew Brees who can scramble

He's around 5'11 to 6'1. But I wouldn't mind seeing us bring him here in R2.

A guy on ESPN radio yesterday for Scouts Inc. said he will measure in at between 5-10 and 5-11. That's too short!

i like him.he could be a bigger version of vick who can actually be a good teammate and player.he definatley has some short comings but is better than grads or simms.it just comes down to where he will be drafted.i like him as a college player.i am just not sure how his game will transfer over into the pros.he might be another mcnabb type.with a top pick in each round we might be able to nab him.it all comes down to free agency and what holes need to be filled.if he is available with our late 2nd round pick(the colts one)then i could see us taking him.if not then hopefully we will not have missed out on a good young qb.

I wouldnt be opposed to him at all, especially if he is still on the board in the 3rd round.

Heisman Winner....You can forget about drafting him in the 3rd or 2nd.

Winning the Heisman doesn't mean he'll be gone in R1. Do Eric Crouch and Jason White ring a bell?

He will be a borderline late 1st/early 2nd rounder.
