LJ runs them pretty well.....and he's no speed guy.

i must be honest, i have not seen many kansas chiefs games. so i dont know.  i always though LJ was around 4.4 speed

i'm not sure what his speed is.... read that he's a 4.55. Not sure. Ryan Grant ran them pretty well in GB. I think Graham is more than fast enuff..... I'm just not sure our offense is designed to run them properly.

I completely agree SunnyD.  It looks to me that it is more that Gruden doesn't like screens.

I can't imagine that, but there has to be some reason, and I don't think it has anything to do with our rbs not being able to run them.

kinda odd, especially considering he likes to throw 2 yd outs to the te's.

Being able to run screens on offense has more to do with the offensive lineman then it does with the runningback, meaning if lineman cant get out in front or have the athleticism to turn and get up field a team is not goint to be running screens

Bump... O how big of a differnce a year makes... CJ is obviously going to be a great back, I've been wrong before.

CJ was one of those that proved critics wrong, and is actually a real nice weapon for an offense because of his skills.  So shows the draft is and always will be a crap shoot no matter what a guy shows.

He still was a big ? even where the titan took him.  Small school product with great combine numbers. HUGE RISK. Some turn out some don't. It would have been like taking Colston in the top ten. The production does support the high draft staus

I was definitely on the CJ train... woulda liked to of had him, but I'm satisfied with Talib, and I'm glad CJ is in the AFC.

Thanks yucc! You described why so many of us want him in just a few words. It isn't just as a rb, it's his ability to do all the things you mentioned with speed and elusiveness. He can score in so MANY ways!

Also, just the THREAT he brings opens up many things for us!
