There is plenty of conversation on who the Bucs shoudl take in the first round.  Obviously, we would all take the likes of Ellis, Dorsey, Long, or Ryan if for some insane reason they fell.  I am posting my draft board of players that I think could be availalbe based on the many mock drafts from the so called experts.  Yes, I would love Williams or Mendenhall, but they probably won't be availalbe.  Here is who I think has a chance to be availalbe and the way I have them ranked.   Post yours if you like.

1st Round Draft Board

Devins Thomas   WR
Mike Jenkins        CB
Brian Brohm        QB
J Stewart            RB (Some injury concerns)
If all four are gone I would try frantically to trade down and acquire more picks then select Talib, Hardy, or Avery, or Jones in the late first.

Well on your board I would do this:

1. Brohm QB
2. Thomas WR (I might actually put Avery here. I think Avery would be solid for us and we're in a position to "reach" at #20)
3. Stewart RB (close with Thomas but Thomas gets the nod because we need a WR more than we need a RB TODAY)
4. Jenkins (we won't be taking  a 1st round CB)

I would not mind Brohm either.  While it may not help us this year, two years from now we will be in good shape at QB.

i would do this with almost no regard to who is on the board.

1. Stewart - Has the talent of a MVP caliber back like Shaun Alexander or Steven Jackson
2. Brohm - Closest thing to a franchise caliber QB since Dilfer
3. Jenkins
4. Thomas - Great potential but one year of production makes him a bigger risk

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

I would like to see the Bucs take with the 20th pick overall...SF's 39th and 75th picks or (less likely)Atlanta's 37th and 48th pick (minus a 6th in '09 or somethin')

Atlanta's 37th is worth 530 pts and their 48th is worth 420 pts=total 950

Bucs 20th is worth 850. We are short 100-that equals our 3rd @116 pts.

Besides its Atlanta. Better chance of it snowing in Tampa tomorrow.

So there's no player worth taking at #20, but some team is going to trade us two of their picks so they can....do what exactly?
