My man Hate will be all over that interview... ;D

Without Carl Nix it feels like our running game just took a death blow to the face!

How is the knee?  Excellent.  Some cramps in the beginning.

What are you able to do now?  Runs straight ahead, No cuts, needs to rebuild his quad muscles, slowly on my way back

Able to get back on the field?  Training Camp will be a close call,   "I'm the type of guy to put on my hardhat and go to work...."  (yeah!)

Doc says he has to take it slow to avoid tendonitis.

Did he ever doubt his recovery?  Early on, First 2-3 months I was really down, for the first 4-5 weeks after surgery, I couldn't move my leg by myself.

I stayed in Birmingham for the first 2-3 months, didn't feel part of the team then...  Team wants him back and supports him 100%.

Dr Andrews said my career is NOT over and I'll be back in 08 to play.

Caddy is picking Warricks brain on staying healthy and diet.

Caddy believes he'll be making cuts on the knee in May / June.   Doesn't want to wear a brace if possible.

Has he considered starting 2008 on IR or PUP?  Has talked to his trainer about the PUP,  and will do whatever is necessary and what is best for him and the team.

Asked about why he is so motivated

1. LOVES FOOTBALL (physical, camaderie, to play)
2. NAYSAYERS (wants to prove them wrong)

////

Both Adam Schien and Tim Hasselback (interviewers) were really impressed with Caddy.

Good stuff.

But I wouldn't expect him to get on there and say "Don't expect me till 2009, my knee is shot, I hate the game of footbal etc. etc."

Exactly!!!

caddy will be back, although im not sure if he plays in the 08 season. I hope he starts the season on the PUP list just to be safe, there is no reason to rush him and if im not mistaken a team still has 3 more weeks after that to make a decision on him. But regardless if he plays in 08 or not, i think he will be back in 09 and play at a high level. Comeback player of the year award will be his.............IMO

Stretch, a team has 6 weeks to either activate a player who is on the PUP list or put them on IR.
