this is a memo to all the people who think that colton brennan is not a good quarterback of the future . you need to give the kid credit when credit is due , imo i seriously , think the bucs should take him in the 3rd or 4th round if hes still there. I have a strong belief in this kid after watching this video feed that he very well could be a great young quarterback in the future. The kid has trmendous heart and his skills can sometimes be compared to nfl starting quarterbacks , he is a mobile runner , a great great pocket passer , and is used to running our style of offense in tampa which is the west coast . he grew up learning how to play one offense and one offense alone , thats the valued west coast offense that we now run under gruden . In my mind the kid deserves better than hes gettiing , he is being harrassed by analyst all around cause of poor combine and pro days , people are questioning his arm strength , which is pretty good in my book , i think that if hes available , that the bucs should take a chance on him , and make him OUR quarterback of the future . Colton Brennan is a young talent waiting to fill the need of the right team . he will be produdtive immediatly imo.

also i dont think we should draft a corner if we are able to bring in lito , i think he would fill that need perfectly with wilson and pbuc and barber , we should be set at the postion . now i dont know how many will agree , but i say we draft a wr in the first and a quarterback like Brennan in the second or third , i want to know what you guys think of brennan after you watch this video.

Heres What We Should Do In My Opinion Come Draft Day ...... with our first selection
1. Draft someone like sweed , jackson , kelly or manningham with the first , that takes care of WR
but definatly dont draft a corner if we can bring lito in ... what do you people think.......

No one knows.......NFL network was talking last night about Tom Brady.  Even the guy who drafted him says he can't take credit because they didn't think he'd be anything. He said they just lucked out with Brady.  Same with Montana, Walsh didn't know if this guy would amount to anything, worked him out and like what he saw. Nobody knows what Colt or Ryan or any QB going to turn out to be. You just have to be LUCKY. Pure Luck. The scouts, GMs, Coach's, You , I , nobody knows.

Gas $4 a gallon, Thank you all who voted for the Socialist.

He couldn't handle the speed of the Georgia defense how is he going to handle an NFL defense?  I know he was under pressure the entire game, but when he did have time to throw he still looked out of his element throwing balls into lanes that were quickly shutdown by the UGA secondary.  I give more credit for his numbers to June Jones system and lackluster competition than I do his ability.

An Older NFL prospect QB, he will take a long time to be NFL ready and by then he will be around 27 or 28 which is too old.

You see the bowl game against Georgia when he got his azz kicked?

boy that game was an eye opener.  it totally validated the stereotype of big schools being deeper and more athletic than small schools.  hawaii and their fans made the long journey to prove to the world that they weren't a fluke. the tv cameras showed their fans and players doing the tribal dance to pump themselves up.  what a nice cinderella story.  they were out to prove that their gimmick offense does translate well against top competition. that their record wasn't inflated.  Then the game started and the dawgs stomped their guts out and proved all those stereotypes to be true.

Colt Brennan and Timmy Chang should open up a restaurant on Maui together.  That's as far as their names will get them though.

He can take a hit, he was demolished and only stayed out the rest of the game. That is toughness. Try this one for his highlight video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope this wasn't his "highlight" video.... I suggest we draft the guy who hit him though lol.

i am not a supporter of him, but would not mind getting him in the 5th, or trade down and get 2 6ths. and get him.

that video of him getin hit hard shows he can put u with the punishment of the NFL. colt brennan is a team player with a strong accurate arm and a head on his shoulders... he is very underrated due to the system he played in.

Watched him in that college QB challenge and he looked very sharp and won the damn thing, and I feel that the Bucs might take a chance on him at the #5 pick for us and as for Dennis Dixon.....................that guy might end up being a reciever in the NFL or a quarterback for the AFL or CFL only(because his skills are very sandlot & undisciplined).

TBCBUCCS :

There is no way he can be a starting NFL QB, he DID NOT put up 14,193 yds passing (3RD BEST IN NCAA) - 131 touchdowns (NCAA RECORD) IN two years.

I dont know where you got that from dude, 7,000 yards passing average a year? He would be the number one overall pick of that was the case and a national champion... In the words of Gruden, you out of your freaking skull? Those are numbers from 2005-2007....

Hey Genious Watch The Video I Underlined At The Top Of My Thread , Youll See His Stats In Two Years , Just Like I Put Them , Yeah 7,000 Yds Average and you guys think hes not a high round pick ...... hahhahha think again

i love when people try to sarcastically call someone a genius and they spell it wrong... ;)

Colt Brennan will be a bigger failure than Chris Simms.

You do know that the whole Georgia Defensive Line will become NFL players right? Most of them are 4-5 star talent coming out of High School.

Only 1 Hawaii O-Line player may be playing for the NFL. Hawaii never gets 4-5 star talent, so you see that is like David taking on Goliath in the Sugarbowl.

If Colt gets a good O-line to give him time to throw then he will be a force to stop in the NFL.

Has anyone see him move in the pocket? Colt has an amazing sense of whats around him when he's in the pocket.

I say take him in the 5th and trade Chris Simms for another 5th.

Tanard Jackson hits harder than that.
