Gruden said we need a "big time qb to come in here & be a star in the NFL."

Does this mean a trade in the offseason or our first round pick?  Like someone said, I dont think he has the patience.

Sounds to me he's lobbying to re-sign Simms.

Sounds like he's ready to use our first pick on a QB.

I do not think he has the patience. No rookie QB can come in and dominate.
The most likely choices would be Garcia or Plummer.  If they are looking at young guys, maybe Schaub.

Truths:
1.  Never have an argument with an idiot.  They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
2.  For some it would be better if they remained silent and be thought a fool than to speak and erase all doubt.

if we sign plummer, I'm taking a sabatical (spelling)

Actually signing Plummer could be very good. If we draft a QB with the first pick, having aveteran that can mentor him would be awesome. But the best possible mentor I think there could be thats still in the NFL, Brad Johnson. Not sure of his current status, but I wouldn't mind a rookie taking the lead from Johnson.

Which response do we get this time? Butthurt? Needs medical treatment? Or the all time favorite, \"Drama Queen\"

Java,
As frustrated as he was with Simms at the beginning of this year, not sure he sees him as the players to come in a be a star.

Gru should take a look at Dilfer and Testaverde.

Gruden had a meeting with Simms Fri to try to "talk him into staying".

I do not know what Gruden is looking for with that statement at the QB position at this point.  But what I do know is that you do not need a QB to be dominating to field an average offense. I am just not seeing it.

Money talks.....

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

He's not trying to field an average offense.  He's trying to field a great one.

That makes no sense.  How about start trying to field an average offense before trying to field a great one???

That is like saying you should learn to walk before you crawl.
