With the 58th pick in the draft, Tampa Bay uses its second-round pick to draft Appalachian State WR Dexter Jackson.

Man, that's a huge reach.  And we passed over some very good players.

Wow, I guess they were thinking DJ over both Brohm and Sweed and decided to add a 5th rounder and 7th rounder while still being able to draft him.
Hmm...

They must have locked in on him (maybe after Desean was snatched ahead of them), figuring he'd definitely still be there when they traded down.  Unless they thought Sweed or Brohm/Henne would drop more.  But I would think they wouldn't have a problem taking a player who was dropping at their original spot.

Yeah that trade is looking very dumb now. Jackson was projected late 3rd.
I like the pick but a bit of a reach.

Was worried they were going to go with manningham and i just don't like his character issues and i'm just a little upset we didn't get Sweed at 52, but if they wanted a speed wr then jackson is the next fastest guy with good character.

Dexter Jackson is a good fit for this team. Punt returner ability, good open field speed and he I watched him blow by Michigan on that slant pass.
