In a couple years the Bucs are going to have one of the best O-Lines in Football
And a run defense ranked in the 20s.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

I love Adibi and am hoping for him with our next pick but he's not beating out his idol Derrick Brook this year.  Same with the other guys.  They have potential but probably not going to start right away, if at all.

2009 Luke Petigout, Donald Penn
2010 Davin Joesph, Jeremy Trueblood, Aaron Sears

These guys will be free agents and can we re-sign them all?

Given the way Allen has the cap currently, I don't think that this is even an arguement.  I understand that you want depth for a team to compete, good teams can attribute their success to also having very good depth, but we also have other needs to address and then depth, IMO.

Unlike the starters you had planned.

ADW, frankly, your disapproval is a reason for me to like this pick.

May be a 'tweener without a true pro position...Does not necessarily play to his workout numbers...Does not dominate opponents...Durability concerns

Career backup.

Don't know much about the kid, but it's a good pick. Adds depth to the line.

Jeremy Zuttah
Height: 6-33/8 | Weight: 303 | 40-Time: 4.99

Official Bio

  Strengths:
Good athleticism...Terrific speed and quickness...Extremely strong...Explosive and powerful...Mobile with nice range...Uses his hands well...Versatile with experience at multiple positions..Smart with good awareness and instincts...Great work ethic.

Weaknesses:
Size and bulk are somewhat average...Doesn't have great footwork...Has trouble with speed...May be a 'tweener without a true pro position...Does not necessarily play to his workout numbers...Does not dominate opponents...Durability concerns.

Notes:
Was a four-year starter for the Scarlet Knights...Has played both guard and tackle in college and could also project to center at the next level..Has missed some time with knee and ankle injuries...Opened some eyes with a standout performance at the Scouting Combine when he placed among the Top 10 offensive linemen in four events including the forty and bench press..Has starting potential but versatility is the hallmark of his game and that may allow him to at least be a valuable backup
Should go in the second or third round.

With the 83rd pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, Tampa Bay uses its third-round pick on Rutgers OL Jeremy Zuttah.

All I know about him is that on another message board a Steelers fan was positive Pitt would take him in the 2nd round when they instead went for Limas Sweed.  I think he's capable of playing a bunch of spots on the line.

yes...i wanted him in the 4th but didn't think he would last that long...very versatile lineman that may be able to backup at center and every other line spot
