With a sixth-round pick acquired in a trade with Chicago, the Buccaneers use the 175th pick to select Florida State OLB Geno Hayes.

I'll take it I guess... though I kinda think we are overloaded at LB as is... good STer and good depth I guess.

If he played as well as he ran his mouth, we might have something.

A poor mans Ernie Simms, not DB as they are trying to say on ESPN right now.

Geno Hayes was the last remaning player on Mike Mayock's top 100 players, and the Bucs nabbed him in round six. NFLN analysts really like this pick for the Bucs.

this guy is better then Sims. he was just a one year starter, and came out as a junior. if he stayed, he would have been a first day pick.

The Bucs are pretty heavy at LB...

I'm a Noles fan, but I don't like Hayes.  He's not too bright.

LOL, no way he is better than Sims.  Sorry, not even close.

He is not better than Simms but he is good value for the 6th. Its going to be tough for him to make the roster though

It might seem like that at first but with DB's age and Cato June's contract situation it might not be as shored up as we think.

Either way Hayes had great value here.

Special teams guy for sure.....Mel Kiper compared him to Brooks. I'm sorry, the only thing he and Brooks have in common is the number they wore at Free Shoes U.
