Nahhh Gruden has too much pride to give Mike the ball more than 2 or 3 times a game.

Kinda weird to think that he's only got 1 more game in front of the home fans. He's been a helluva player for us and will be missed. For his contributions to my favorite team, i'll be forever grateful.  Thanx Mike..... Now bring on Brian Leonard!!!

Senor.... easy Alstott doesn't fit the Gruden "system" Gruden has far too much ego to change up his highly successful system to fit around any player he has. By the way I should have used "ego" as opposed to "pride" in my original statement.

Nope.. don't care for him one single bit.

I have never said Alstott should get more carries but I think he should start the last 3 games and Caddy should be benched. Dont bench Caddy because of his play, but just to rest him for the last 3 meaningless games in favor of a guy who has bled pewter and red and is maybe the most beloved player in team history. He has 3 games left, can anyone tell me why he shouldnt get 25+ carries in his last 3 games? Its not like he can do much worse than Caddy does behind our OL.

After watching the New Orleans/Dallas game and seeing highlights from the San Diego game I believe the fullback is about to make a big comeback in the NFL. Teams are finding new ways to get the FB involved.

This was one of the Brian Leonard arguments.  I do think that he would allow the offense to have a additional dimension coming out of the backfield that can make a difference.
