Blake is an absolute stud pass rusher when his head is in the game.

I think he has a legit chance to make this team as a situational rusher... So long as the crazy stays away for a bit.

Isn't he Bi-Polar? I believe I read something on him about that.

Risky business man.

FOr those screaming "character issues", this is on a whole different level man.  The guy is talented, definitely.  BUt he is also a possibility to miss a practice, a flight, just bail at any second.  Can you imagine Coyer and Kiff barking at him for screwing a drill up, what that will do to him (potentially)?

Hope his meds are solid, hope he figures "it" out, whatever "it" is, and hope he can lead a productive life, in or out of football.

But would I take a chance on him?  Not a chance.

As a student graduating with a psychology degree, I can tell you that BPD is no joke. I didnt know he had the disorder.

The real question is: "Does he have Bipolar I or Bipolar II spectrum disorder?"

If it is Bipolar I there is no chance he makes the team, AT ALL. That is just the nature of it, it is hard to overcome it and we wouldnt invest the money into him. Too risky. If it is Bipolar II, he isnt as high as a risk and can still function at a fairly high level. He just would have periods of mood fluctuations throughout the year.

Having a family member with bi-polar, I wouldn't touch Blake if it is bi-polar.

"...and it was later revealed that Blake suffers from both depression and social anxiety disorder...."

Didn't Oaklands center have some sort of mental issue the night of the Super Bowl against Tampa?

I'm glad to hear that it may not be Bi-Polar... though I still wouldn't rule it out, that 1st article was very hidden. If anyone is willing to take on this kid, I think Gru and Allen can with the Center from Oakland in their past.

He would be one hell of a situational pass rusher.

Wasn't there also one in Miami and Green Bay?  Names escape me.

Well I think the incident with the C from Oak happened in MIA, but you could be thinking of someone I did not know about.
