Let me ask you this, who other than FSU fans claim such?

NOBODY!

Only FSU fans sour about getting their ASS WHIPPED for a MNC!

Whatever helps you sleep at night though....even 11 years later!

LMAO!

The only BOTTOM LINE, is that FSU got whooped!  They were set up to play UF based on the CFB system at that time.  Nothing more, nothing less.  It's been 11 years, DEAL WITH IT!  You can make up little sayings and call it whatever you please. But anyone not an FSU fan calls it one thing:  A BEATDOWN!

Not to ruin BornaRunole making himself look like a fool (there are plenty of those anyway,) but here is some news regarding the topic of the thread:

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3315406

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU Tigers quarterback Ryan Perrilloux returned from a suspension, and hopes to be allowed soon to practice with the team.

LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette said Thursday that there is no timetable for Perrilloux, who finished last season as the expected heir apparent for the starting job, to return to the field.

"He's no longer suspended, which means he has some privileges back, but one of the privileges he's not been able to regain is the ability to practice with the team," Bonnette said.

Perrilloux's former high school coach, who remains close to the quarterback and his family, has said Perrilloux missed a mandatory team meeting, then missed classes to attend his father's funeral without notifying coaches.

It was the third suspension for Perrilloux, who was considered the favorite to succeed Matt Flynn as first-string quarterback after leading LSU to two victories as a starter -- including the Southeastern Conference championship game -- when Flynn, a senior, was injured during the 2007 season.

Perrilloux was among the most coveted high school quarterback prospects in the country when he joined the Tigers. He appeared to be fulfilling his promise in 2007, after redshirting in 2005 and playing sparingly as a third-stringer in 2006.

In May 2007 he was suspended from the team indefinitely after he was cited for trying to illegally get on a riverboat casino in Baton Rouge by using his older brother's driver's license. He was reinstated in August.

In October, the week before the Alabama game, he was barred from practice for his role in a nightclub brawl.

Employee: QB called server 'Osama'

Issue date: 4/3/08 Section: Campus Beat

Another employee at Kona Grill confirmed Wednesday that Ryan Perrilloux was involved in a verbal altercation at the restaurant, saying the junior quarterback called a server "Osama."

The employee agreed to speak to The Daily Reveille under the condition of anonymity and said the incident occurred Sunday around 10 p.m.

Another Kona Grill server, Drew Watson, said he knew "all about the incident" but "already agreed to management not to comment."

Perrilloux entered the restaurant with an unidentified former LSU football player and three employees from Crazy Horse Cabaret, the anonymous employee said.

He said the group sat in the **CENSORED**tail area and began drinking. Perrilloux, the employee said, began yelling obscenities and racial slurs to their server.

After some time, the employee said the server spoke to a manager and asked him to address the rowdy group.

The employee said a manager asked the group to leave, and after the manager threatened to call the police, the group left.

The employee said a manager e-mailed the LSU Athletic Department and said he would not serve any more LSU players until he received a formal apology from Perrilloux.

Kona Grill allegedly received phone calls from LSU coach Les Miles, an assistant athletic director and Perrilloux apologizing for the incident, employees said.

Watson is not the server who spoke about the incident nor the server who was harassed.

LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette said no such incident occurred at Kona Grill.

"We don't have anything to say," Bonnette said.

The Daily Reveille contacted Assistant General Manager Scott Aldridge on Tuesday evening, and he said he did not have a comment regarding the incident.

"I've been receiving a lot of calls about that and would like to stop receiving calls at the restaurant," Aldridge said.

The Advocate reported Wednesday that Aldridge said "Perrilloux was at the restaurant Sunday evening but didn't cause a scene."

Casey Hicks, public information director for the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, said the Sheriff's Office was not called out Sunday evening to Kona Grill.

Perrilloux's suspension from the football team was lifted this past week, and he was expected to return to practice Monday.

WJBO reported Tuesday that Perrilloux "will not be participating in Spring practice at all this year" because of "an incident at a local restaurant over the weekend."

good, pain to LSU. Now lets see what Crowton is all about, now the rest of the country can see the one year fluke, that every stop before him has seen.

I don't think most Gators were too concerned with Perrilloux.  He didn't really impress me vs. UT in the SECCG.

Either way I didn't see LSU going into the swamp and winning that game.  RP has some skill but was a head case. He wouldn't have won that game IMO, and I wasn't concerned with it.  LSU was in for a sort of "rebuilding" year this year anyway.  Who knows, maybe the transfer from Harvard will pan out...he is most likely smart, something RP obviously wasn't.

Good to see Miles put his foot down.  9th times the charm I guess!
