Will making the change cost Gruden the locker room? Its one thing to replace one rookie for another but to bench Q for Ruud. I see the whys but do you think the coaching staff can risk such a change? I'm all for putting Ruud in and maybe Winborn for Brooks but to totally bench them could cause some serious strife among the veterans. Who knows. I just wish Brooks would retire at the end of this year and let his career speak for itself.

Easy, play the youngsters. We're doing that on offense, we need to start doing that on D. We need to find out what Dewayne White can do with extended playing time. We need to know if Zemaitis can play. We need to see if the Kalvin Pearson project is worth anything.

Agreed.  I mean, how much worse can the Bucs do with Pearson replacing Phillips?  Jermaine is playing like Jermaine Jackson right now.  Which means not very good, or noticeable either.

Start giving the younger D players more reps. Ruud is supposedly a tackling machine, maybe he can teach some of the vets how to take a player down.

Put in Pearson and Nicholson at safety, everyone talks about Philips, but Allen played like crap as well.

Allen can make turnovers happen occasionally though.  See last year.  He has the potential to make it happen.

Now look at JP's numbers...1 pick.  In the last few years.  He isn't all that great at generating the turnovers.  And he isn't that great a tackler either.
