I say we go with McCown. It would be unfortunate but we need to know what the kid really has.

That's really the point Java. I think McCown could win 7-8 games but at least we'd know what he really has.

That's a tough call Lamond.  We know Jeff gives us the best chance to win.  But I'm not thrilled that he went public with his demands.  We took his butt when no one else would when he dissed us twice for more money.  Now he wants a payday from us.  If we give him some extra loot fine.  I don't have a problem with it but it sets a bad precident as far as Bruce and negotiations with players go.  Essentially they are trying the man.  And I have a feeling Bruce is going to do what is right for the team not the individual player...

It also would be dependent on whether Garcia's injury was short term or season ending.

If the Buc's were to lose Garcia to injury and go 6-10/7-9 nobody is gonna get fired. Dream on.

talking about our QB situation---Yes we have 100's of QB's on the roster
But if Garcia goes down we are screwed--But at least they had enough sense
to bring Griese back--so we have at least a chance to win if Garcia goes down--

What do we do with him? Win the games he starts that the defense gives up 14 points or less just like last year. Hard to expect much more.

There is at least a 50% chance he goes down with an injury this year anyway. Either way chances are we will be without him for a long stretch. If you remember right we where 5-1 with Greise although you could make a good argument that we where 5-1 dispite Greise. But I have lost alot of respect for him going public with his complaints, he should get the bonus's he owed though.
