For all the bashing, **CENSORED**ing, moaning, & groaning about our team---go to Bucs.com to see a great move.  They invited a bunch of military family members to tour 1 Buc Palace, meet players, & get tix to the Sea game.  They went to the team auditorium to watch game film on a huge screen.  But after a few minutes--the kicker. They were hooked up by sattelite to their family members in Iraq & got to see each other & visit. Especially the soldier who got to see his son that was only 1 week old when he left.  Props to our Bucs for a classy& "Christmasy" deed to "Bucc" up the troops & their families!

That's really cool. Thanks for the story Karen. It's stories like this that really put football into perspective. Here we all are griping and complaining about what a bad season this has been while these families have not seen their loved ones for months and live with the fact they face mortal danger every day.  Guess if the only thing we have to worry about is who the QB is going to be in the next game, that's probably a pretty good thing. Again thanks for the perspective.

The nice thing is Gruden really dug the work Johnny Lynch did with McDill and has kept that very active. It is a real plus to the local sports inscluding the Lightning Rays and Bucs what they have done for our local military. These guys risk it all in spite of their wives and families for the love of this cvountry and so we can **CENSORED** on MB's. i am proud our sports teams give back and they should for what these fearless heroes do for us everyday.
