Is this not at least the second I Told You So threads so if you don't like to toot your own horn you could have fooled me.  Plus when did you say Vince Young was going to be a stud?  Got a link as I know when I was born I said I would be writing this post today.

Some of the long timers remember that thread written back in the Pirate's Cove, about a month or
so before he lit up USC to win the national title. The thread also mentioned Chris Leak as being a
good one too, and although he will not be a stud like Young is he will get drafted probably 4th or 5th
round and will remain in the NFL for several years(as either a reliable backup or decent starter).

He has been good so far this season, but I'm not ready to put him in the Hall of Fame yet. He still has a long way to go, from what I've seen he still has problems reading defenses and with his accuracy. But his arm is stronger than I thought and he has alot of poise for a Rookie.

I have to say, I thought Vince would have a hard time adjusting to the NFL. He's done better than what I expected him to do. Then again, Michael Vick looked very good way back in '02. So it'll take another season or two before I call Vince the next big thing.

oh yes, you've been wrong on many things Chrispy, I personally thought Young wouldn't do so hot in the NFL, looks like I was wrong about Vince, right about Bush. But let us not forget Graham for a 3rd round pick.

How bout this one then if you want to keep track of things - CJ Spiller will be one of the best all around backs in the NFL when he gets drafted out of Clemson.  Guy can catch, run and has top notch speed and moves so 12/17/2006 you heard it here first.
