I don't think people with serious physical handicaps should be playing in the NFL.

Jermaine Phillips would probably be a GREAT football player if he had ARMS. That way, he might be able to wrap people up, and actually tackle. Either that, or they should let him play without a facemask, so that he could bite people in order to hang on.

Dolorus Jason on a ban bet with me over the BCS Championship: \"You have your bet. I ain\'t scurred.\"- 12/8 \"Youre being banned from your own stupidity. Enjoy.\"-12/8 \"Prepare for your ban .\" -12/9 \"Miyagi gonna be banned.\"-12/9 \"Best bet I ever made ...\"-12/9 \"Miyagi mad , gettin banned.\"-12/9\"You mIght need a break from the board. Our bet should help you do just that.\"-12/10 11:38 AM
 \"The bet is off now.\"12/10 1:24 PM

He's really stepped up since we threw Lynch on the scrap heap hasn't he?

Jermaine Phillips cannot tackle, he cannot cover, he cannot take a proper angle, he is constantly out of position. Other than that he is a solid Strong Safety....LMAO!

hindsight is 20/20.  at the time we made the move, we were in salary cap hell and Lynch was coming off career threatening neck surgery.  Phillips was younger, cheaper and more athletic.  Lynch refused to renegotiate his deal or accept a reduction in playing team.  all of the above = cap casualty.  happens all over the league with aging star players.  get over it.

Actuyally Lynch was more than willing to redo his deal some but he had to be guaranteed the starter position. Phillips on the other hand played quite well in Lynch's absence and was a RFA that was cheaper. So yes Lynch was a cap casualty and hindsight is 20/20-- Lynch counted 5.2mil against the cap but gave 4.1 in cap relief if cut. Coming off season ending neck surgery and Phillips playing well in his absence I see why they made the move.
