Would of thought that Ronde, at least, would've made it.  Even if you count the "just missed" names below, theres no Bucs on there.  Sad.

They're all better than Brooks at this point in his career and I love Brooks.

By my count 10 of those players were available with draft picks owned by Bruce Allen.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

I count 3 #1 picks on the list.

So technically, A LOT of GMs passed on 47 of these guys.

I agree for the most part with that analysis. I think Ben Roethlisberger is really over rated though.

That list is beyond retarded lol.

Look on the brightside, CBS probably rated Cadillac one of the top 25 players after his rookie season too, lol.

Look at his win/loss record.  Then tell me the same thing.

Fitzgerald is the best receiver in the NFL no matter the criteria and not only is he not even in the top 25, he's like the 5th receiver on the list!  Other than that, I can't really argue with too much.  Ronde should have made it over some of the guys in the list but hey... what can you do.

When someone makes a statement like that, that's when you know they are a homer. This list was probably not based off of what Brooks did in 1999-2002, it's based off now. If you think Brooks is 1 of the top 50 still today on June 26th, 2008, than you need a dose of reality.

I think the real question here is... define over-rated.  Ben is NOT the 17th best player in this league, but he IS in the Top 50.  When I see that the next QB on this list is Brees at #35, that's where I think they both belong... I would have Brees higher... I'd say Brees at 34 and Ben at 35.

Very true ABuc, but Brooks is just as good as or better than Sims and Lofa.  For 1 year, no one is going to convince me that Sims or Lofa is a better choice... on the same page, sure, but not better.

Also, Welker better than Galloway... I'm afraid not.  Both Trufant and Ronder are better than Samuel.
