Colts | Team reportedly looking to trade Doss

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Indianapolis Colts have reportedly put S Mike Doss on the trade block. Several teams told FOXSports.com they heard the Colts had been offering Doss in trade talks.

Doss is a pretty good safety- I wonder if we need him here though- Allen and Phillips are OK.

Safety depth is definetly an issue and he's a pretty good S. I wouldn't mind if we traded for him. You gotta know that with the way Bruce Allen looks into every single free agent, he's got this on his radar.

  Phillips is ok--are you kidding? He stinks!  When did the c Colts re-sign  automatica grammatica? Yikes! They get Vinnaterri & then he can't play. How is barely beating the Jets a good thing?

I agree Karen.  Phillips seems to be good at knocking people out, which is great, but only if you have a few other discernable NFL skills.

Doss is familiar with the system. I'd trade for him, I'm not all that confident in our safeties.

We're nuts if we dont jump on this opportunity if the price is like a 4th or 5th rounder. Phillips is GARBAGE and it would be cool to have Allen and Doss(former college teammates and starters in the same secondary) together again.
