Citing "multiple sources," the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that the Cowboys are actively shopping for an upgrade at backup quarterback.

This totally disputes what owner Jerry Jones said just last week about his "confidence" in Brad Johnson, who Jones said had "real good (offseason) camps." The Star-Telegram claims Chris Simms' name has surfaced as a possible upgrade, and Simms has told people he'd definitely play in Dallas.
