Also, Boldin would have a easier transition here (I think) than Favre would. Unless FO plans on making Boldin our 5th string QB or something... I would like to believe that the WR position is more flexible than the QB position (easier to upgrade).

In the first scenario we end up with JG, Jackson, Hilliard, Bryant, Clayton, Lucas.
2nd scenario replace Stovall for Clayton.
3rd scenario replace Clayton with Warren or Hankton.

Cards arent taking a 2nd and one of our WR's for Boldin. Boldin is a ProBowl caliber player at a very young age.

I would give up a 1st next year and a 2nd year after in a heartbeat for Boldin. THAT is the stud WR we've been needing here.

Boldin, Jackson, Stovall and Clayton could POTENTIALLY be a pretty damn good wr corps.

Boldin makes us a legit SB contender, with or without Favre.  We're close enough now to make that move.  Forget Favre, if the opportunity to get Boldin really exists.  A first and a second for him is easily worth it, especially to this team at this time.  He could instantly turn our passing game into a strength.

Just read about Galloway's groin strain.  I believe he has some history with groin injuries.  Definitely not good at his age.  Double my last post.  If Boldin is actually available, get him, then pay him and lock him up for 5 years.
