"Simms never threw to him."

Stats say otherwise.

Clayton had his best year when the other options were Tim Brown and Bill Schroder.
Ok so let me get this straight, you're ready to call someone a bust when they had 1 great season, 1 bad season because he was injured the whole year, and has only played 4 games into the season on a struggling offense. Wow.

Where did I say I was ready to call him a bust?

He's got 12 more games before I call him a bust.

Clayton looked good on that reverse if you ask me as it looked like he has his quickness back that he had as a rookie.  Clayton is also on pace to have more than 30+ catches this year compared to last year.  People need to lower their expectations IMVHO.

he'll be ok.  I see alot of effort from him this year vs last year. I think he'll have good numbers for the season when all said and done.

I hope that is a joke. Gallery isnt even as good as Anthony Davis right now, and Moss is a walking distraction.  Gallery was the 2nd pick in the draft so he has alot of guaranteed money coming to him and Moss has one of the highest salaries at his position. The way its looking right now we are going to have our 2nd top 10 pick in 3 years, so unless the bucs want to be in salary cap hell for the next 5 years, this would not be a good move.

Well, the good thing about all this is, he might resign with the Bucs on the cheap (come time).  His numbers aren't going to drive his bargaining chip up, that is for sure.

In a trade, the Bucs would be lucky to get a 4 for him right now.  He is tied for 5th on the Bucs in receptions, and he is a starting WR on a team that plays from behind most of the time.  We spent the 15th pick in the draft on him, so yes, he is a bust.
