The guy (and Former Buc) who really got stroked is Warren Sapp.  He has had a better season than Hampton, WIlliams, or Seymour.

Lynch has been decent but gets in on name recognition more than anything.

Lynch goes in under popularity contest alone. Just explain to me how else he gets in over a player like Chris Hope who has twice as many tackles 4x as many INTs and 3x as many passes defensed. Hope was probably the most deserving Safety in the AFC and got passed over.

How much longer are Bucs' fans going to 20/20 hindsight themselves into a lather about Lynch.  Obviously it was a bad decision looking back but there's no point in rehashing it over and over again 3 years later.

In run support Lynch would still have been good here but in the passing game he would have been miserable IMO.  We have good corners but we don't have a Champ who can shut down a whole side of the field making it easier for Lynch in coverage.  Even so he has been poor in coverage for Denver, and is really just a 4th LB.....

I heard 2nite that Sapp leads all d-tackles with 8.5 sacks.

Agreed.

And he did it on a pretty bad team that had nothing to play for aside from pride.

Remember Ronde, the Pro bowl is now a recruiting trip. Talk to all the nice free agents while you are there.
That's a good point.

Best Signature ever IMO.  That has to be the funniest SNL sketch I ever saw!
