It would be refreshing if republicans could tell us why we SHOULD vote for McCain, instead of why we SHOULDN'T vote for Obama.  Its rather ironic that the very same people that voted for one of the worst leaders in history, TWICE, are now telling everyone else what a bad choice Obama would be.

I have been in shock for years trying to figure out why anyone would vote for Bush.  At the end of the day 80% of the population will vote for whoever their party puts forward.  Its not about Obama or McCain to the majority of voters, its Democrat vs Republican.

I believe this campaign to discredit Obama will eventually catch up and destroy McCains chances of winning the Presidency.

Americans are clearly become stupid in the past eight years because they are letting their blind hatred for Bush and the Republican party cloud their judgment on voting for an even more stupid candidate in office.

MJS, the people voted for Bush because back in 2004 it looked like he was there to protect our country from terrorism which was the main goal. If I could have voted in 2004 I still would have voted for Bush because I honestly believe John Kerry would be another crazy liberal democrat trying to tax us into hell. Thankfully, Kerry did not win. And George Bush won by landslide numbers in the popular vote in 2004, making him the most voted for President in American history.

Are there people who regret voting for Bush now? Absolutely...millions do but at the time there was no real strong candidate to beat him. America needs a viable change but Obama is NOT the answer and never will be.

The video is an excellent propaganda piece and does a great job of using fact, out of context quotes and information to paint the picture the author wants the audience to believe. It's not unlike Farhenheit 911 in that respect. Try reading the links Snopes.com has up about Obama to learn what's fact and what's manipulated truths.

In case you didn't click the link, the video posted isn't one of the McCain campaign or GOP.   I'm not sure who Lorne Baxter is, but, the voice is comical.  The other funny parts are Kennedy flubbing Obama's name as Osama and Anne Coulter dropping his middle name in various ways.  I don't really take that video very seriously.

I was open to Obama for the first few months of his campaign, but then, his speeches were non-specific, his "plans" (from the debates) were Hillary's with a tweak, and he'd have to explain, re-explain, and then explain the explanation (i.e. the Rev Wright debacle).

Who did you vote for and why? Oh that's right, you aren't registered to vote, because of jury duty... So this makes you an expert?  Why do you care?  Is this some sort of way for you to vote through proxy of others around you?

Glad you like Obama, go vote for him, there are some of us that look at this election as something that is not a clear cut democrat or republican as you suggest, but rather something else.  You critisize people for voting for Bush, "one of the worst leaders in history," when you yourself never voted.  People made a selection based on events happening at that time, and all Kerry could do then at that time was make statements like "I have a plan..."  ...  ... okay what is your plan???  IF Kerry would have elaborated more into what he had a plan for, he might have helped his cause against a war-time president, but you call people stupid for that, bravo.

Perhaps people are getting tired of voting for the "lesser of two evils..." why in the hell should we have to do this?  Why are we forced into primaries and caucuses that IMO don't work well because they usually don't make it to the full populous to vote them forth.  IMO that portion of the system is broken.

You still have yet to give a valid reason why you are voting for Obama. But go ahead and criticize those who actually have a brain and wont be voting for that clown.

America is absolutely the least racist country. Racist based Groups are to a minimum. How many of you guys hear about KKK rallies or lynchings anymore? Black Panthers?

America has found that if you say anything racist, they will destroy your career so fast it just blinds you. When you got Racist Police like those tubs of lard Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson waiting for some racial comment to be made then you know that we have become to the point where Racism is almost illegal.

Think about it, A white family wants to sell their home. They open the house to the market and a black couple wants to buy the home but for 15,000 dollars less than the asking price. The white family tells them no and then all of sudden it becomes racism. I have seen this happen before with family and friends of mine. People look for anything now a days that can be considered racism so it can be taken to court.

Affirmative Action is another "racist" thing (to be honest) but was put in place to diversify the campuses of colleges around. Is it a fair system? Absolutely not. To think a 3.5 GPA student doesnt get into his college of choice because some 2.5 gpa student who is a minority is accepted because he needs to be there to make "Quota" its absolutely obsurd.

Americans are racist, dont get wrong. But people cant stop being racist. For all of those who seek the utopia of a peaceful society that will never happen i nthe history of the world and mankind. It started all the way back with Cain and Abel and it doesnt look to change now. The only way people will break racism is if the reasons to be racist are stopped. Stereotypes and typical actions that annoy other races by one race are the thing that divides that civil justice. Only way is to break those habits. Sadly, that is never going to happen.

Only thing I have to say is, if you dont like racism, you better find a deserted island for yourself because if you expect to escape it, you have to isolate yourself completely from the rest of the world.
