none of you guys are voting for obama or mccain.  the only thing our country sees is the letter behind the name.

Who did you vote for and why? Oh that's right, you aren't registered to vote, because of jury duty... So this makes you an expert?

I didn't have a vote last time around, so its irrelevant.  I most definitely couldn't vote to GW, and the other option wasn't that desirable, so a spoiled ballot would have been the way to go.  I have always been a conservative, my dad was adviser to the Thatcher governments so you don't get much further right than that. 

I think as time goes by Americans will come to realize what a disaster the last few years have been.  We are in debt, and hatred towards the US is at an all time high.  Yes the very same hatred that makes young men from Saudi join radical Muslim groups and fly planes into buildings. 

So yes we are faced with the lesser of two evils once again.  Do we go with a few more years off the same or make a change?

Making a change does not always mean the outcome will be better.

There is a lot of serious issues going on right now, not just with the country but the world. I dont really think it is time for an experiement with socialism and terrorist appeasement.

It would be refreshing if republicans could tell us why we SHOULD vote for McCain, instead of why we SHOULDN'T vote for Obama.  Its rather ironic that the very same people that voted for one of the worst leaders in history, TWICE, are now telling everyone else what a bad choice Obama would be.

And if Republicans spent half as much time finding a good candidate as they do bashing Obama, they might have someone better than flip-flopping puppet, otherwise know as **CENSORED** bag McCain.

I understand all that stuff in the video... I've heard it all before.  I've also heard McCain flip-flop on EVERY issue from abortion to gay marriage to tax cuts.  Republicans obviously don't want someone with a Muslim name in the White House.  But I wonder why Republicans don't question the Bush family's DEEP ties with the Saudis.  Afterall, weren't most (all?) of the hijackerrs on 9/11 from Saudi Arabia?

George Allen was being bread to be the GOP nominee for 2008. Then his political career got torpedoed with multiple controversies of racism. So the GOP got stuck with McCain as a default candidate. That is why the GOP is thinking about a young up-and-coming person for the VP slot so even if McCain doesnt win, they will have a head start for 2012.

McCain was the strongest of what was available. The other GOPs were polling in the low 30s against Obama and Clinton while it was neck and neck with McCain.

America is absolutely the least racist country. Racist based Groups are to a minimum. How many of you guys hear about KKK rallies or lynchings anymore? Black Panthers?

America has found that if you say anything racist, they will destroy your career so fast it just blinds you. When you got Racist Police like those tubs of lard Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson waiting for some racial comment to be made then you know that we have become to the point where Racism is almost illegal.

Think about it, A white family wants to sell their home. They open the house to the market and a black couple wants to buy the home but for 15,000 dollars less than the asking price. The white family tells them no and then all of sudden it becomes racism. I have seen this happen before with family and friends of mine. People look for anything now a days that can be considered racism so it can be taken to court.

Affirmative Action is another "racist" thing (to be honest) but was put in place to diversify the campuses of colleges around. Is it a fair system? Absolutely not. To think a 3.5 GPA student doesnt get into his college of choice because some 2.5 gpa student who is a minority is accepted because he needs to be there to make "Quota" its absolutely obsurd.

Americans are racist, dont get wrong. But people cant stop being racist. For all of those who seek the utopia of a peaceful society that will never happen i nthe history of the world and mankind. It started all the way back with Cain and Abel and it doesnt look to change now. The only way people will break racism is if the reasons to be racist are stopped. Stereotypes and typical actions that annoy other races by one race are the thing that divides that civil justice. Only way is to break those habits. Sadly, that is never going to happen.

Only thing I have to say is, if you dont like racism, you better find a deserted island for yourself because if you expect to escape it, you have to isolate yourself completely from the rest of the world.

I'm 65 years old and I've had enough with the old white guys (yes, I am white). We are now down to a choice between a young black man and another old white guy. The young black man can't possibly do any worse than the last old white guy (Bush). I'm ready for a change and I hope I live long enough to see a woman get elected. She can be black, white, yellow, or red. I don't care. We need someone who values the American people above their political affiliation and influential friends. McCain has the system ingrained in him. He doesn't know any other way. I admire his military service and appreciate his past contributions. I don't like his ridiculous attacks on his opponent and I expect a continuation of the current administration's blunders. Enough already.

A black man in the oval office will make the world sit up and take notice that Americans are fed up with the status quo. We know Bush is an idiot and a warmonger in the eyes of the world, and we really want to change that image. This is a true test to see if we really have gotten past racism in this country IMO. I remember when America was admired and respected in the world community. I would like to see that restored. Electing a black man President is a step in the right direction. Electing another old white guy is not.

Vote for at least the perception of change, even if it isn't. McCain is no change at all because all old white guys look alike, and they're scary. That includes me.

Same reason people vote for Obama is the reason why they dont vote for McCain. You get these dumb young liberal college kids that want to vote for Obama by stating hes bringing "change" well lets hear what he plans to do? While all the meantime people criticize McCain as being status quo. Well its kind of funny people want to give one man a shot to be president because he can talk his way into the WH while they wont even give McCain a chance to be president. Rather hypocritical if you ask me.

It all boils down to race in this election which will be the deciding factor in November.
