Well that site has reported it but I mean how reputable is that site? It's obviously a fan site for Brett Favre and coming back to the Packers but I just can't say one way or another whether to believe anything from the source. Maybe the Packers fan here can shed some light.

Well, they have enough clout that the JSO actually mentioned them.

But who knows?

This from one of our bloggers:

I'm on my way home from Training Camp right now, and just heard on 620 radio that Favre is waiving his no trade clause for a trade to the Bucs.

Fire that guy. Favre doesn't have a no trade clause.

It's sad. I can see both sides. If Brett was a year or two younger we could trade Rodgers instead. Brett ,as always, has a huge upside and as every day passes now, a tragic downside too(career ending injury). TT's balls are squarely on the line now with a 13-3 team and handing it over to Rodgers. The unknown for us is what TT and MM see in Rodgers, we have seen very little of him, but they have 3 years of game films and practices and teaching, they obviously think he's a better choice then Brett going forward.

That would make sense. But why did it take McCarthy 2 hours to make it to his presser?

I believe there's something definetly going on and McCarthy just did this presser to get the media off the Packers back for a while.
