wow you got tricked too?

How many times have Favre flip flopped his decision the past month?  I'm telling ya I aint gettin my hopes up yet...  I hope you guys are right...and BE HAPPY for the moment...but remember...just because Favre can throw for 3800 yards and over 30 TDs with the PACKERS...doesnt mean he can do it with the Buccaneers...I hope he can....but it may be a rough transition...

With the bucs focus on the running game and smash mouth D, he will only be asked to command the game and hit the slant. I see 20 - 30 passes per game, not much more.

Thought this was interesting:

So it appears there’s a good chance he’ll be traded to the Bucs, whom the source said have been calling daily to keep a possible deal alive; the Jets; or perhaps as a long-shot, the Vikings.

if Favre came here and took us to the Super Bowl, he would be the greatest QB of all time.   it would be, Joe Montana WHO?

Waiting for the official news, and honestly not looking forward to what it takes to get such a deal done.  I like Favre, and I think that Tampa is better to have him here, but at what cost to a team that is working on being a solid competitor.  There is a chance like some have suggested, he leads us to the SB, then this is moot, and I'll be happy, but it is definitely loading for the now.

That's true.  And people would realize that he's been carrying weak Packer teams further than they deserved to go for years.

Why would you want Favre when you already have Drew Brees?  Grant it, Favre is better, but Brees is still a top 10 quarterback.

Yeah, I wouldn't replace Favre with Brees at this point in their careers. Now Garcia? His hamstring tells us why we need Brett.
