Coverage is one thing, you're supposed to be average or above, but how many times have the return teams helped the Bucs this year? Can think of Pittman's return in the Eagles game, but as far as I know, no points out of either return game this year. Hester doesn't do it all on his own I'm pretty sure, blocking sure helps with NO penalties.

He has the #1 ranked kickoff coverage unit.  Should he get fired?

haha.  Some on the "main board" have called for his head in the past.  Amazing what the guy can do with good players.  hmmmm.

You know, I wasn't sold on Bisaccia at the beginning of the year, and while it behooves me that we still haven't returned a kickoff for a TD, I have to admit, our ST have been pretty solid this year.

We don't kick off much since we never score.   Our guys are well rested so they should do well.    It's too bad his coaching talents can't also get us some good returns.   But you can't ask for everything.   Besides, our guys on the return team are not well rested.   They get too many returns after the opponents score on us.

I don't think Bisaccia should be fired this year.   But this is the first year I've thought he should not be fired.

The special teams are now solid after they became a priority. They are not, however, 'Special' yet. We need our own 'Hester'. I bet we get one this year.

This season, the Buccaneers are the only team that doesn’t have a punt return of more than 20 yards, and their longest kickoff return is 37 yards, third-worst in the league.[/i]

Just when you thought Bisaccia was safe with a nice coverage unit...you remember that.
