If he is let go by Washington what do you think about him coming to the Bucs if they don't have to throw him alot of money? He has been a bust in Wash. primarily because he does not fit their system. If he is cut he may be looking to reastablish himself. He reminds me somewhat of Lynch and fits into Monty's system.

Archuleta was supposed to be a box player for the Skins when they signed him while Taylor would play centerfield.  The problem is their secondary was banged up early in the year and they tried to use Archuleta in coverage (big mistake).  Archuleta is not exactly good in coverge but it did not help that the Skins pass rush is almost non existent either.  Archuleta in a lot of ways became the scapegoat for all the Skins miscommunication in the secondary and the front seven of the defense which is kind of unfair.

Archuleta may be worth a look if he is used to play in the box like Lovie used him in St Louis while he was a D coordinator. But in coverage he has issues.

I like Archuletta.   I wouldn't mind seeing him here.

If you thought Phillips was awful in coverage.. this guy makes Phillips look like Ronnie Lott.

I'd take a look at him.  Gotta do something about that contract though.  Despite his coverage issues, he's still better that Flip.

I think he'd fit into the system quite well. I'd ok with Archuletta.

Everyone cries for John Lynch to be back, I am sure of one thing, Archuletta is younger and faster than Lynch.  Do  you  think John Could still cover half the field in our defense, doubtful.  That is always what is not brought up, our run defense has improved but the pass D is exposed due to the poor pass rush.   I do believe that we would hear the "John LYnch, Brooks, are getting old and slow if he was here.  Uniformed fans clamor  for him but he does NOT play our system in Denver, he is linebacker+

Huge ego, not a gruden guy,  doesn't use MIKE.

Archuleta would be a good fit for the Cover 2, but he seems out of place in Washington.

Fire Joe Gibbs, he obviously can't evaluate talent, spending all that money on a guy riding the bench, jeez louise he needs to go, don't let him use next year's FA or even TOUCH the draft...
