1979 NFC Championship game, would have changed Buccaneer history and how the Bucs are perceived by the national media and casual NFL fans. If not for a holding call that negated a Buc touchdown the Bucs would have been a Super Bowl team.

Cannot argue what you said. The Bucs were rolling right along until that fateful MNF game. That game was like a guy's manhood placed in a vise. Ouch!

I dont agree that they were rolling at that point. The first crack came with the missed extra point against Carolina that cost them the game

The Colts game essentially put the Bucs on the roller coater that they are on now. Losing that game ripped out the heart of the team and it's been up and down, mostly down, since then.

While some may vote for the 1979 or 1999 NFC title games, my pick goes to the Bucs vs. Packers on 12/24/00 in Green Bay. If Martin would have made that 39 yard FG wht Bucs would ahev won the division, gotten a first round bye and played an average NEW ORLEANS team in the second round in Tampa. And I have NO doubt that EVEN with a Shaun King lead Bucs team, I like that Bucs team a lot better than that soft 2000 NEw York Giants, even in the meadowlands...
Bucs vs. Ravens in super bowl 35 in TAMPA, look waht happened in 2001 when they played....

1999 championship game, NO DOUBT. Even with King at qb we could've taken the Titans.

Yeah, the 99 championship game is probably the right call, but the Indy game would be awfully tempting as well. Our team just seemed to ... change after that game.

99 title game. Â Indy is right up there too. Â We get screwed by the refs when it matters most I guess. Â I can't even imagine what Seattle fans feel like.

1999 game easy. That defense would have eaten that titans offense alive.
All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
