QB B's season ended just the same as QB A's.
FRG is the most logical poster on this board. You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Who cares? it was a pre season exhibition game. The last time we saw Garcia in January he underthrew 2 balls that were intercepted. Saturday he threw 2 more balls that were pathetically underthrown and picked off. If you (and Gruden) want to ignore the giant elephant in the room then go ahead. But some of us aren't so naive.

And Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl, but I sure never wanted him back here again.
QBA and QBB are neither impressive nor capable of winning the trophy.

The INT in the end zone wasn't as much under thrown as it was a pass that shouldn't have been thrown in the firstplace.
Take 2 vet QB's.QB-A a professional football player for 15 years. QB-B a professional football player for 17 years. QB-A working out all offseason. QB-B fishing, hiking, drinking beer and eating hot wings.QB-A participating in OTA's. QB-B fishing, hiking, drinking beer and eating hot wings.QB-A participating in Mini-Camps. QB-B fishing, hiking, drinking beer and eating hot wings.QB-A misses most of Training Camp. QB-B misses most of training camp.QB-A in the same offense, with the same players, with the same coaches and the same WR's. QB-B in a completely different offense, with completely different players, completely different coaches and WR's he's never passed a ball to.QB-A is heralded as a great protector of the ball. QB-B known to toss an ill advised pass often that results in turnovers.QB-A looks horrible in his first live game action. Weak throws, inaccurate passes and 2 INT's. QB-B looks sharp in his first action. Strong accurate throws on target and seems to know where his receivers should be even though he's never worked with them before.QB-A is proclaimed to be rusty. QB-B....can he be anything other than rusty? What's the difference between these 2 QB's? By all accounts shouldn't QB-B have looked worse? I mean no other factor at all than just the rusty excuse, QB-B should be a hell of a lot more rusty. It doesn't matter who they are, or what their resume is. If one of these QB's should be rusty it definitely should be QB-B. So was QB-A's horrible performance really do to rust?
I dunno, we sure could have used a Dilfer in 06....
If Brady and Manning play as horrifically as Garcia did in their first games back, then I'll say all you "rust excusers" are right, and I'm wrong. But for now I think it's disgustingly sad that this is what some of you are willing to accept.
You my friend, have started the foundation of "What separates a good QB from a GREAT QB?"
