I was expecting him to say Galloway and Bryant. Hilliard?? The comments were some of these guys are better suited as 3rd or 4th receivers which is what Hilliard should be.

Hilliard should not be starting. If Bryant and Galloway are healthy and start then i would give the nod to us though football wise that is a useless comparison.

I have no idea why they dont compare one teams defensive backs against one teams receivers. You do that, the way it makes alot more sense and we win the comparison easily.
Hate to break it to ya, but Hilliard could probably be #2 in Carolina and Atlanta too, lol.

i agree with both of you guys. Hilliard is and still will be an important part of what we do here. He prolly knows the routes better than anybody we have. Who better to have in the game on third down than hilliard. Bryant hopefully will be an even more important part of our offense here, because we need some big plays opposite Joey Galloway. If stovall or clayton can bring a good game too than the recieving corps will be better than we think it will be now and maybe this article wont sound so stupid.

That article was good for comic relief. I'd trade Galloway, Hilliard, and hell.... throw in Clayton for Colston.

No you wouldn't, that's straight stupid.
Straight stupid was drafting Clayton in the first place. ;)

strange no one was saying that after his rookie season though...  everyone seemed to think we had a true stud on our hands...

*sigh*
I was sitting their on draft day telling everyone we were gonna get a stud RB in Jackson, you should've seen the look on my face when Clayton was the pick. He had a great rookie season, you're right, but I can't help but think about what could've been.

Say such a thing were true, and I guess it could be, to me that speaks more about how sad the whole division must be as apposed to how good the Buc's WRs are.

Or perhaps it's hard to say 'cause the Ds are just that good.

Meachem better play well or he's gonna get the "bust" label.

What's Meachem done? Oh yeah, nothing.

So as it stands, he's worse than Hilliard by miles.

He's got some yards in a preseason game,  woopie.

Hilliard would be a #2 reciever on any other team in our division.

I'd trade our WR corps straight up for Atlanta's in a heartbeat.

No thanks.

If Garcia would pass to WRs instead of TEs and running backs, I'm pretty sure the numbers would be around the same for both teams.

Agree.

Why not?  vertical threat? check, sure-handed? check, up and coming rookie, check...

No, the number of catches is about the same.  The difference is in the yardage and touchdowns.
