I think the Palin pick is pretty freakin' smart.  I like her A LOT!

I wouldn't mind McCain winning and then croaking at his inauguration.

That's probably not far from reality if he gets elected. The guy reminds me of  old man Potter, that banker on Its a Wonderful Life.

She is pro-life and pro-gun. Holds a lifetime membership with the National Rifle Association. Opposes same-sex marriage. Ran on promises to clean up government corruption in Alaska. 44 years old.
Her son is also in the army and has served in Iraq in an infantry division.

I'd vote for Michael Palin over McCain, Obama or Biden.   But I think I'd vote for the little Alaskan hottie over any of them.   :)

She went after political corruption before being elected.  It's funny hearing Obama supporters question experience.

I think it's a brilliant choice.  This has become a complete popularity contest.  Might as well bring in Miss Congeniality.
