Excuse me, but what the heck does Grads have to do with Simms?

Maybe because they are/were both QB for the Bucs. Both were losers. 1 had 3+ years bench time to learn, the other had 6 months.

Why was Grads name ever brought up in that post?

If the offensive line play improves, I could see Simms being successful, but the young offensive line has to grow up fast and Simms needs more weapons to be a strong canidate for Comeback Player.
