Simms wouldn't be guaranteed a starting job anywhere in the NFL.

Neither will Grads. Grads had a good preseason & then...crap!  Besides Gruden's job is on the line--he better figure out how to make Chris successful.

Why must you take a simple fact that Simms probably wouldn't be guaranteed the starter anywhere in the league through FA and make it about Bruce?

I thought this thread was titled "Simms Gruden". I didn't see Gradkowski's name mentioned.

Well, true, you did at least have the original mention to fall back on.

tampa's QB situation is as poor as there is in the league right now, and with his knowledge of the system, chris has as good a chance to win a starting job here as anywhere in the league.

To be quite frank...I can't understand what the hell the orignal poster is saying in that second line.

Yes he could have. I bet he could have gotten more money on the open market. Look at what Griese got.

Haters.
Don't you believe that competition is best for this position, at this time, for this team?  I mean sign Garcia or Plummer, or trade for Favre, and let them compete with Simms for the starting QB position...that's fair isn't it?

You must be accountable for your actions!
