Chris Simms to be traded to Dallas??? (per PFT)

You heard they were upset about Underwood/Romo? You heard from who?

I saw them mention it on ESPN but it was only the opinion of the announcers. I doubt Romo is
on any trading block because of that. He's young. YOUNG QBs STRUGGLE. Sound familiar?

Why wouldn't the cowboys just sign Simms instead of trading something for him?  Are you telling me that Simm's agent hasn't sent out feelers?

Bucs signed him now to hold on to him. For a trade? I suggested this when it came out they were working on a contract.

I think keeping Simms if Gruden is here, is the same as asking Parcells if he wants TO back for another year.

Per a league source, the $3 million will be prorated over 2006, 2007, and 2008.  Thus, a pre-June 1 trade in 2007 would result in a cap charge of $2 million.  The source says that the deal also includes a $2 million base salary for 2007, and a base salary of $2 million for 2008, plus incentives.

Bruce Allen is the man.    If Simms doesn't start he is an affordable back-up, and he can be traded at anytime.  Every Buccs fan should be over the moon with the signing, there is absolutely no downside IMO.

Even though I wanted us to sign T.O. in the offseason...I'll pass on Simms for T.O. I no longer want that drama queen here.
