Are you saying he's crossed the line?

yes that is what I am saying.  Josh Johnson should be pissed too.

Who knows maybe the future isn't here yet.  There is always the draft.  I doubt McCown is here next year as well as Garcia, so I expect Griese, Josh Johnson, a vet QB like Rex Grossman, and a draft pick to be on our pre-season squad next year.  This would give us 2 guys in the system with Griese and JJ, a project vet, and maybe the future in the draft pick.

We're talking minimum four years for Josh Johnson.

Did McCown really play that badly at the end of last year?

The only really noticable problem he has is he holds onto the ball wayyy to long.

But that seems correctable and maybe that game experince last year helped him.

The other bad thing Luke seems to do is lose football games.  Pretty big stat imo.  I hate to see Giese throw picks...  I know it's going to happen, and I hate it.  But I find it hard to argue with 8-1 at this point.

I would much prefer Josh johnson right now then Mccown. I just don't see what the rest of you see.... And four years for Josh? Where do you get that?

whoever says to put Josh Johnson in now is nutz. He is still learning a pro offense and is a rookie for starters. You go with whoever gives us the best chance to win. Right now sadly its Griese since he hasnt lost yet. I am down for giving McCown a shot he just needs to get rid of the ball sooner.

Griese is 8-1 the last 9 games, but he was 5-6 in 2004

but yeah I do find it crazy how the D and Run game play for Griese.....maybe they respect the guy?

Unlike some Hate, I never threw Garcia under the bus.

I still think that if anything happens to Griese, Garcia is the next QB off the bench. As long as Griese wins, stay the course.

We'll need both of them before it's all said and done this year. IMO.

Nice way to make it more difficult for Denver's D to prepare for Sunday's game, too.  Which quarterback do they prepare for?   ;D

And four years for Josh? Where do you get that?

His comprehension of the offense, his decision making, his tendency to tuck it and run etc. etc.

Rookie QBs take awhile to develop under Gruden. Josh Johnson is an extremely raw Rookie QB so it will probably take even longer.

1 rep for Griese and Garcia is too much.
