Just was listening to Sports radio and caught a broadcasting team I didn't recognize. At first I thought it was something syndicated from the San Francisco area.  Much to my shock it was the new Tweedle Dee And Tweedle Dumb of the airwaves!


It was the KILLER BEES!!  LOL     The worship they gave Al Davis was incredible!   They actually tied Jon Gruden to the whole thing!

It doesn't really matter. I don't have a copy of his contract, obviously, but unless Al can prove that Lane breached it he is subject to whatever the breach on his side is (assuming there is one based on the contract). Surely Al's argument would be that Lane breached the contract in some manner and how is the real question. He stated openly in a public forum that he fired him for "cause" meaning, in his words, that it was due to Kiffin speaking out in the media about their situation and internal disagreements. That's a little different from performance reasons and that may be the reason he has a case. It really all depends, but the personal trashing isn't going to get him anywhere in court.

Al may be a bad judge of coaches and be a little crazy but he's still very sharp.

Kiffin obviously didn't know what he was getting himself into. Either did Gruden. The way Big Al
is keeps the really good coaches from wanting to coach for him. He has to put up with the
B Level coaches and coaches that are young and unproven.

I had forgotten about the Jerry Rice streak and Norv Turner. Turner forgot to throw him the ball?

If he gets people to believe his side of the story if the factual events, he would have his "cause."  That's the point of all of the media hype and press conferences.

Not really. That's up to the court to decide and they'll decide on many more issues besides his press conferences.

It doesn't matter what the public believes and there will be evidence provided for them which aren't coming from the press conferences.
