Gruden probably knows him from his stint on the 49ers staff in the early 90s.

on the flipside for very/anyone that has called for a "great" player to become a coach.....
please submit a brief list of  great players that have become "great coaches".....
two different animals......
players can't wait to get off a practice field.....coaches never want to leave

I remember him from playing for the 49ers.  I think they won the Super Bowl the year he signed.

He's too laid back.... as are Greg Burns and Jethro Franklin... there are rumors swirling that that's the reason the defense has lost it's swagger. There's also a few rumors that they may be replaced as well...

yeah he is, Ken also played well for the cowboys he was a guy that did not take any **CENSORED**, i like that

Wow, I like the Ken Norton idea.  He's a fiery guy and has been in the league...I hope they give him a look...

Without Carl Nix it feels like our running game just took a death blow to the face!
