Our first priority in FA (or before) is keeping Buchanon and Phillips.

A top-tier UT makes every D-lineman much better. In fact, it makes our LB's better. Hell, it makes our DB's better...

Buchanon, yes. I wouldn't call Phillips a priority. I think he will be seeking a big payday in FA and eventually leave us. But I think we'll be fine. I think we go with Sabby in 09

If Sabby keeps getting nicked, Phillips will become a priority.

Put aside the tackles, INTs and FF that Phillips provides and he brings a presence to the field that impacts the game that Im not sure Sabby does yet. Regardless, I think we all know Sabby could do a good job. Im just not so quick to assume Sabby can do everythign Phillips does, and then some. Like some people think

I agree, experience is important in that position.  Add that to Sabby's injuries, and I'm not ready to close the book on Phillips yet.

Some team is going to throw stupid money at Peppers, like what San Francisco did with Justin Smith.

Smith is earning his money

T.J. Houshmandzadeh would be perfect for us imo. And im sure he will be more than willing to leave what a crap hole the Bengals are for the Bucs.
Jonathan Babineaux might not be a bad pick up for DT either. Also maybe we could steal Dunta Robinson? I know we are pretty set at CB. But if this guy stays healthy. He is easily one of the best DBs in the game.

Selvie is 245 lbs and has only 2 sacks this year and he's a junior. There's no way he is ready for the NFL. He needs to come back for his senior year...have a healthy year...put on 10 lbs at least...and put up 10+ sacks during his senior year before I am ready to even think about him.

Whoa...shiver me ****in timbers!

Roy Williams, TJ Houshmanzadeh, Nnamdi Asmougha, and Albert Haynesworth.
