let me start by saying that AP is a stud back and I think he'll be a feature back for somebody. Just not us.  There is no plausible argument for selecting a RB in the top five 2 out of 3 years.  Too much money on one position when we have too many other holes. I dont care if he is the best player available when we're on the clock.  You have to balance the BAP and team needs approach.  To draft him would be no balance between the strategies at all; it would be the Matt Millen (top 10 WR's in 3 straight years) school of drafting.

I'm not advocating drafting Peterson but I do think Gruden screwed up drafting Caddy.  Especially at #5.

Those who keep raggin on Peterson and don't feel that he's a flat out stud, makes me wonder how
much college football they actually watched the past 2-3 years??  ???

Those who keep hating on Cadillac leave me to think they spend too much time looking at plywood and new kitch cabinets rather than see him run.

I think the vast majority of us are not ragging on Peterson so much as we are the idea of drafting two running backs with top 5 picks in three years.  I have no doubt hell be a quality player, just not on this team.

When you have a quality young player at a position who has proven himself, why draft another when many other positions are more glaring, also for the record Joe Thomas will be the better of him and AP.
