Case was made finally for Tampa to be the best in the NFC. Just some notes cause it was a fast 60sec.

Tampa is dominating the defensive side of the ball (Like fans didn't know that)
Garcia is the most underated QB in the NFL and is playing with fire.
No rushing touchdowns and the play of the Secondary.

Steven A smith on the other hand thinks that Tampa is a fluke and that teams dont care if they loose in Tampa cause the weather is so nice at game time. He also doesn't believe Tampa has chance at beating the Giants.

The Titans are hot but they have yet to play a quality opponent. The only team close was Jax and half their OL was out.

The Titans' defense is a good bit better than the Bucs.

Total defense: TEN #3 TB #9
Pass defense: TEN #5 TB #14
Run defense: TEN #8 TB #10
Sacks: TEN #6 TB #21

Offensively the Bucs are better at passing, the Titans better at rushing.

i was at the giants game yesterday and if SFO had an even half decent offense they would have beaten the giants. the giants secondary is weak, their linebackers are so-so (except pierce, who is banged up). cleveland dismantled the giants, and SFO missed several open receivers or had several drops.

i don't think the giants are a superbowl team this year without osi and strahan. the NFC is still wide open, and if we can stay healthy, i think our chances are as good as any.

That is difficult to say with quality of opponents and so on.

You have to look at the quality of their opponents. Jax with no interior OL, Houston, Minnesota, Baltimore, Cincinnati and KC. Bleeeeechhhh!
Vs The Bucs schedule of NO, Atlanta, GB, Chicago, Denver Carolina and Seattle. We've played top 10 Offenses. They haven't played anybody.

Wins over teams with winning records:

Bucs - 4
Titans - 0

I'm pretty sure our stats would look a lot better against that drivel Tennessee has played.

I know things change year-to-year, but last season the Titans stopped the run (TEN #5 TB #17), sacked the quarterback (TEN #7 TB #16), and ran the ball (TEN #5 TB #11) really well, too. It's not unthinkable they're still good at it, despite who they've played.

I never said their defense wasn't any good. Just not nearly as good as their rankings.

Hahaha, Steven A Smith is a fluke, it amazes me how he got the job much less keeps it. dude is a clueless airbag.

Why do you necessarily have to be wrong just because a few million people think you are?

Stephen A Smith... the guy who said why attempt a field goal on 4th down, when if you miss it on third down you get another chance... that guy? ;)

im interested to see if they bring it up later in the week. we all know that ESPN will be spewing Dallas news from every piece of air time. Finally get to see what all the other broadcasters have to say.

Not that it will be any big surprise if everything relates back to the super bowl year when they actually watched a game.
